This book is a collection of some of the prayers Swami Premananda Giri wrote in the final phase of his life. They differ from the "Prayers of Self-Realization" which, though also the personal experience of his own consciousness, were always intended for congregational use. These are not. Swamiji's desire to share his prayers-the earlier prayers and these-stemmed from the very motivation, inspiration and mission of his life: to awaken his fellowman to God, to his own soul, and to the divinity of life.
