The mind is continually curious. We want to know and comprehend the length and breath of creation. We study the universe cell by cell and star by star. We want to understand the past, present and future. Yet, the universe of space and time extends beyond our mental grasp. We assimilate the observable data to this infinite existence, but what about the dimensions which are so far unreachable by our sensory experience?
"The wise man looks into space, and does not regard the small as too little, nor the great as too big; for he knows that there is no limit to dimensions.”
—Lao-Tse
”The cosmic religious experience is the strongest and noblest mainspring of scientific research.”
”The most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms—this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness.”
—Albert Einstein
”Leaving aside the realization of the universality of the Self, the very vastness of the mind remains hidden because we are identified with our thought reflections.”
—Swami Premananda
