Sunday Bulletin
Just as all of nature seems to slumber through the cold winter months dreaming of the glow and warmth of the spring sun, so do we long to reawaken to a more spiritualized and enlightened consciousness. As winter draws nigh and spring dawns before us we are welcomed to life which is eternal, yet, which had been hidden from our sight.
The significance of the mystical and sublime Palm Sunday is universal. When approaching the city of Jerusalem, Jesus came upon two blind men. It is rather significant that these two men were blind, for Jesus sought to lift the consciousness out of the domain of the sensory world into greater awareness of divinity.
Looking at the lives of God-realized souls, it is helpful to remember the qualities of masters of enlightenment and love. They belong to all ages, all religions, all people and bring their own sacred and profound revelation. They help us to follow the path of enlightenment within ourselves.
“Lead me from the unreal to the Real, from darkness to Light, from death to Immortality.”
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.3.28
