“The Way of Sincerity”
Srimati Karuna, Minister
Sunday Bulletin
Sincerity guides us in our self-awareness to be true to ourselves and to present the best of ourselves to the world. We don’t know what will be the result of our actions or the effect of our words. But we know that if we speak and act sincerely others may trust us and our life may be clear in its purpose. With this awareness we have no need of pretentiousness. We don’t have to put on airs. Our friends, family and acquaintances will know us for who and what we are. When we are grounded in the knowledge of the Self, we can be nothing but sincere.
“Honest but wise self-expression is sincerity. Life is self-expression. Our thought, desire and emotion must be granted complete and full expression. But in such self-expression we must be guided by wisdom. Self-expression is giving expression only to our true and spiritual self. In sincerity we must fully express only those qualities of our mind and heart which reveal the truth, beauty and perfection of our soul. Sincerity is soulful self-expression.”
