“Earthly Treasures”
Service conducted by
Srimati Karuna, Minister
Sunday Service
The treasure chest of elements—earth, air, fire, water and ether—is not hidden from our experience. It is received by all our senses and enjoyed by our spirit. The variety in our objective world comes from the grouping of vibration. Prakriti is the equilibrium of the principles of harmonization, manifestation and disintegration. As Prakriti passes through its entire cycle, it gives birth to innumerable forms and phenomenon. To realize the cosmic creative force behind this manifested universe is our goal.
“Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.”
Henry David Thoreau, Walden
“Nature exists for more than our vital existence on Earth. Therein is its supreme glory. Nature exists for our infinite being. We can explore the spiritual majesty of our Earth, by observing with appreciation the sky, the natural open pathways extending in all directions into feelings of grace…seeing Nature as an extended spiritual realm.
“One who knows only the physical form of Earth bound by their shapes and colors and words knows very little. His life remains shallow. But if he can go deeper, perceiving within them the eternal thread of the ethereal web, he will find that all life is bound together in an essential unity.”
Swami Kamalananda, The Forest of Forever
